Finishing the Yarn
After plying, your yarn is almost ready. But it needs a little finishing touch. You can wash the yarn again to set the twist and make it softer. Fill a sink or basin with warm, soapy water and gently submerge the yarn. Swish it around a bit, but don’t agitate it too much. Then, rinse it thoroughly in cool water.
